Nothing better than waking up in the morning and head to a yoga class.
What I love about yoga is to have 1 hour for myself, without worrying of anything else than my breath. At the end of the class, I always feel relaxed and calm.
What about you? What do you love about yoga?
Have anyone heard of CorePower Yoga? The Lalastory tells us about it…
CorePower Yoga is a large chain of yoga studios in the US. They have 3 locations in Los Angeles : Westwood, Brentwood and Hollywood. If you are a yoga lover and haven’t tried CPY yet it is time to enjoy a free week of classes with no commitment of any sort!
CorePower Yoga studios are very enjoyable : nice wooden floors, cute lounge area, locker room with showers and personal care products… Every location has a little shop at the entrance where you will find beautiful yogi clothes and accessories. Their selection is always a hit with the best yoga brands like Lululemon or Alo Yoga.
There are many different classes organized by levels and temperatures. Studios are heated (except for C1, the first level) which will help your flexibility. Classic yoga classes go from C1 to C3. In my opinion C1 is already an excellent practice with many “vinyasas” (a Sanskrit word which refers to the dynamic sequences).
To go further there are “Yoga Sculpt” classes which are more focus on cardio and muscular building (you will use small dumbbells).
I had amazing experiences at the Westwood and Wilshire studios. Teachers are very mindful and always take the time to give a spiritual dimension to your practice. Namaste!
